You are one the way home from work. It's about a 20 minute drive. Red lights and traffic make it 30 or 45 minutes. There is a green light ahead but it's getting ready to change. The caution light flashes warning you to prepare to stop. Instead you hit the gas. You make the light. You look in the rear view mirror to for a police light. Nothing. You made it. But did you really make it? Someone else you know could be watching you. Perhaps it is someone from Church. Perhaps it is a neighbor. Either way, you are setting an example for someone. You are a role model whether you like it or not. Are you setting a good example or a bad example? Someone may be thinking that if you can get away with it, they can too. There are other eyes on you. God is watching. He knows your every move. He knows you better than you know yourself. He wants you to set a good example. He wants you to influence others to live a Christian life. Are you living the life Christ wants for you? We must stop and think about our actions. We must live for Christ.
