I recently found myself in the Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. The Airport in Atlanta is a big place. People are everywhere. Most of them have a " Carry On " bag around their shoulder and some even have a bag that must be checked. Sometimes there is a family with a couple of kids. Then there are people who are on business. A lot of them have something in common. They are lost. Where is the A Corridor? What Corridor or we in now? Is this B or C? Which way do we go now? Someone says to go downstairs and get on the train. When you get on the train you will be at Corridor A. Get off at Corridor C and go upstairs. Then look for Gate 25. It can get confusing. I finally found The D Corridor and began looking for Gate 12. Right in front of me I saw a man holding his Boarding Pass. He was looking at the sign showing all the gates and the delayed flights. Just a few feet away was a black bag with a small boy leaning on it. He had a toy in his hand. I waited just for a moment because I didn't want to frighten the boy. Somehow he sensed I was watching him. His head snapped to attention when he saw me standing nearby. He froze for a second and then he made a quick decision. He ran to his dad. He wrapped his arms around his dad's legs knowing he was safe.
Like that father God is our safety. We can run to Him when we sense danger. We can depend on God when we are in trouble. If you have a problem run to Him and wrap your arms around Him. He is our Saviour and will offer the protection of His loving arms.
