THE GLORY OF GOD

Like all Americans I remember the planes striking the Twin Towers on 9/11/2001. I watched in terror as the buildings tumbled to the ground. I watched the newscasts on every channel on TV. I heard all the personal stories. I heard about all the people who were killed. It was a time all of us will remember. It was a wake up call for all Americans. It happened on Tuesday. I was at work and everyone gathered around the TV in our Break Room. Everyone left their desks and we all watched together. Some were angry. A few cried. The following Sunday was very dramatic. The Church was full. It was very quiet. Everyone had a somber look. It was a time I will never forget. The Pastor had a moving message. The Choir had a Patriotic song. It was a moving experience for young and old alike. There have been many memorable services in the history of the church. The dedication of Solomon's temple was a memorable service. It took sever years and six months to complete the building. The people were anxious to worship God in His House. The Ark was put in it's place. There was a great orchestra and choir to lead the people in praising God. The Lord filled the temple with the cloud of glory which represented His presence.
We should have that same experience today. We need to claim His presence each time we assemble with fellow Christians. Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them. When you go into Church this Sunday morning look for Him to be there with you. Feel His presence. Praise His name. Feel the glory of God.

Hi JT,
I remember 9-11 quite well. I was not saved at the time, but I was one of those who attended church for a few weeks after, then back to my old self. But, praise God, about 2 years later He saved me.
Yes, let claim His presence next and every Sunday.
God bless,
Ken

I remember 911 very well and it was the same in our church. It is great to feel the presences of the Lord in church. When you can feel his presences then you know that you have been to church and had church!

Enjoyed your post today. It was a well remembered sad day for America that fatal day. It really shook up many people. It is sad that it sometimes takes something tragic to get people to worship God. So many like Peter follow God from afar off. "Peter followed him afar off. Matt. 26:58"
John said: "Little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence,
and not be ashamed before him at his coming. I John 2:28"

Hi JT,
I remember 9/11/2001 very well.
I used to work at the World Trade Center, Twin Towers many years ago. It was devastating to me, since I'd still had friends working there. I called them up to see if they were doing fine. Of course, they told me the story what they had seen, and it had been a dreadful experience and trauma for all of them who watched as witnessed. Many folks have gathered at the scene afterwards for many years to come. Thank you, JT for posting this touching message as a memorable experience for all Americans!!
God bless you, JT and those you love!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
All the best.

E começar a questionar! Ela volta? A bíblia apóia o homossexualismo? A quem eu devo me confessar, quem pode me perdoar?

(I A Timóteo cap 2 ver 5 e 6)
