COST AND VALUE

It has been said that fools know the cost of everything but they do not know the value of anything. What if you owned a gold mine? You would be rich. You could buy anything you ever wanted. A new car, a new house, pay off your bills, take a trip around the world in your own private jet. You could have it all. What if you won the lottery? You had the winning ticket. You just won 150 million dollars. What would you do with the money? No more worries. No more bills. You could quit your job. Can you imagine? Your pockets would be stuffed with money. People would be falling at your feet. All of them would do anything to gain your favor. That really would be great. There are other valuable things. What if you were hungry? What if you were homeless? A good meal would end your hunger. A roof over your head would keep out the cold. The cost of things and the value of things are very different. Still there is a more precious commodity.
God tells us that wisdom is the most precious thing you can own. Wisdom is more important than all the wealth of the world. People can steal your money but they can steal your wisdom. It can only be lost if you do not heed it's advice. James Chapter 1 Verse 5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, it will be given to you. The things we seek depends on the things we value. The things we value most are the things we spend the most time trying to obtain. Do not spend your time seeking only material things. Forget things that pass away like the sands of time. Spend your time seeking God. He is our eternal Saviour.

Well said. It's so easy to think, "If I only had ______, I'd be happy." But the truth is that if we have Christ, we have it all. And He can bless us with wisdom so that we can accomplish more for Him than we ever dreamed possible. Great post.

Dear JT
I would like to tell the world how wonderful and amazing person you are. During the times of my distraught, you were there together with NAS and Candycan. Sir, thanks a lot for the inspiration.

Wordly treasures would satisfy you overnight, but real happiness and satisfaction can only be found with Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the reminder ^_^

This is a very important message that we need to be reminded of. God wants to richly bless us, but the world tries to distract us with counterfiet blessings that are nothing compared to what God has for us.
Peace In Jesus
