IT IS TIME

Have you hear the old adage "Time flies when you're having fun"? We can all look back at our early childhood years. Remember your first bike. The thrill of speeding down the street without a care in the world. What about the first day of school. New things to see, new things to learn, new friends to meet, all the good times. Then your first girl friend was wonderful. Just to talk with someone who understood everything about you was a great feeling. Then there was graduation day. Maybe you were first in your class. Then there was college days. What a wonderful life. Your first job was a highlight. The first real money earned was another thrill. You had full intentions of doing something grand in your life. Perhaps you were going to go into politics. Maybe you wanted to make a million dollars. Somehow those things simply got away from you. Time passed and time is running out. The things we want to do are many. The things we accomplish are few. One thing we can not allow to happen is to put off seeking the Lord. With each day we are one day closer to the Lord's return. With each day that passes we lose precious time. Time that we could use to serve Him. God is waiting for you. There is no reason to tarry. Time is short. Call on Him today.

My first brush with the Lord was at 13, but I wasn't saved until I was 28. When I see all the bad decisions that I made during those years, due to the Lord not being in my life, I realize how much better my life would have turned out if I'd gotten saved at 13. Of course, when I try telling that to a young person, it usually goes in one ear and out the other. (Sort of like it did with me!)

Amen Brother!

Time is short and today is the day God offers salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2

For He says:

“ In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

The Lord saved me when I was 46 years old, I am sure glad that He was longsuffering and patience with me, leading me to repentance. Jesus has transformed my life and I truly believe that only God can truly transform lives.

We are all born with this knowledge, but somehow over the years we tend to forget it. Thanks for reminding us to be thankful for every sunrise.
