TAKE TIME OUT

Do you wear a watch? Does it have an alarm? Does it have more than one alarm? Do you have an alarm for waking up in the morning, meetings, lunch, more meetings and one for finally going home? That was me before I retired. About a week after I retired I was sitting in a restaurant with my wife. It was lunch time. My alarm started beeping. I looked at my watch. It was time for lunch. I removed my watch from my wrist and put it in my pocket. Now it's some where on a shelf. We live in a busy time. We need to be somewhere else. We need to go to a work meeting. We need to volunteer at just one more organization. Jesus was busy. Someone always wanted Him to be there for them. He had only 33 years on this earth. He always had time to be still. He had the time to talk with His Heavenly Father. He had time to pray. He never missed an opportunity to minister to others but He had time to pray. He listed to God. No one understands our problems like God. No one listens like God. He longs for our voice. Take time to pray.

Good post. One of my favorite scriptures is, "BE STILL and know that I am God."

Hi John,

Thanks for the encouragement to always pray and not faint.

The truth for me is that prayer changes lives; so lets all take time to pray.

Blessings and peace.
