PRAYER WARRIOR

There are battles going on all over the world every day. There have been battles for hundreds of years. The early American Indians fought constantly. They used spears and bows. They sharpened rocks to create spear points. They tied them to long sticks with vines. Then they designed bows and made arrows. Feathers were used to guide the arrows. There were more elaborate weapons made later. Guns were invented. Gunpowder changed everything. Weapons advanced with time. Propeller fighter planes were used in war. Machine guns were used. Fighter Jets were used later as things got more technical. The Bible says there will always be wars and rumors of war. As Christians we have weapons. Prayer is one of our weapons. Prayer is a powerful weapon. We use prayer to fight against the evil that is part of our every day life. You can be a spiritual prayer warrior. You can take up the weapons of war and fight the enemy. Fight for the sanctification of believers.

I agree, Prayer is the most amazing weapon we can have along with the powerful, most powerful name on Earth, Jesus Christ!

There's a lot of power in prayer, but I'm afraid it's under-used by all of us. Then again, when we do pray, it's often to just get the Lord to do OUR will, when we OUGHT to be praying for His. I'm as guilty of that as the next guy, I fear.

I agree with you Gorges, when we pray it's for OUR will.... how sad that must make God...
My 3 year old has the most amazing belief in prayer, she was feeling ill the other day, looked down at her tummy and asked Jesus to make the germs go away :)

You're right, I know. This post of yours is still a good reminder. Prayer can part the waves, turn water into wine, and cause the sea to close over an evil enemy. It is important to remember it and not resort to earthly things instead. Your site makes uplifting reading.

This post is so very true. Prayer is vital in our lives, and we just don't do enough of it. When we have a problem, that should be the first option. When we need simple guidance that should be the first thing we do, but instead, we vent,or ask others around us for help. Thank you for the wonderful post.
