WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY

Are you going through a bad time right now? Things aren't going good. There are a lot of issues. Economic times are at an all time low. Maybe there is a problem with your job. You have heard rumours. There is going to be a lay off. Cuts have to be made by management. Some workers will lose their jobs. You have all sorts of bills to pay. There is the electric bill. Car payments are due every month. The TV is not paid for yet. What about your health insurance? If you lose your job you won't be covered. What if someone gets sick and there is no insurance? What will you do then? Everyone has their ups and downs. Things happening all around us to make us worry. What can we do? We can call on God. He's there. Waiting for you to call on Him in prayer. Remember - Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death - is a familar passage in the Bible. Remember you're passing through. You don't have to stop. Keep walking and keep praying. Turn your problems over to God. He has wide shoulders. You are not alone. Keep walking.

Hi John,

This is a good reminder: God and prayer. Both are necessary.

A very relevant post, John! Also, Old Geezer, I like the fact that you called it "Resurrection Sunday”, rather than "Easter". There's a whole lot that people don't think about on THAT subject!

What a relvant message for today's changing times. When things that are basic to our everyday living are in jeopardy, it is easy to get our eyes off God and on the worries of the world. We need blogs like this to help us stay encouraged and focused on Him. God bless.
