LOOK TO THE FUTURE

Have you ever been mountain climbing? I hiked up a mountain once. That was a real challenge to me. I was very young. I was at YMCA Camp. The leader said to be very careful. Watch your step and don't look back. That is the first thing you learn about mountain climbing. Don't look back. Keep looking forward. I tried to water ski once. I held the rope. I was in the water. The person in the boat was experienced. He was an expert. He told me to keep my eyes on the boat. Don't look back. Keep looking forward. That's how it is with our Heavenly Father. All of us have sinned. Jesus died for our sins. Our sins have been forgiven. God wants us to look forward. Do not dwell on the past.

Thank you for commenting on a poem I posted at Christian Poets Pen site.. I love being able to write a poem that blesses, or encourages or strengthens those that read them. I have another blog site, where I post many other writings, http://www.karensthreadsofhope.blogspot.com , in case you might feel led to go and read there. I post things there daily, and walk away more blessed each time, as readers share stories of brokenness, and redemption in their lives as they are ministered by something they have read.. Our Lord is our lifeline, and I will cling to Him in every storm, or joy filled experience of my life..
Hanging onto the Thread of Hope,
Karen
