GUARD YOUR TONGUE
I am a Sunday School Teacher. Some people refer to Sunday School as Bible Study. I call it Sunday School. During this time we study the Bible. We have a Quarterly which has a lesson for every Sunday covering a 3 month period. I use this as a guide and I try to stick to it. Sometimes a remark made by a Sunday School member takes me away from our Sunday lesson. I try to answer the question and get back to the lesson. Sometimes my answers are met with smiles and sometimes with frowns. I hope there are more smiles than frowns. After the lesson is over everyone tells me how much they enjoyed the lesson. At times I am not so blessed. Someone might disagree. I take all the remarks seriously. Some remarks made by others make us feel great. Some words made by others are like being stabbed by an enemy. Some words can hurt and others can give hope and encouragement.
That is why I guard my words. I go to the edge sometimes and then throw on the brakes. I always speak for God. The enemy is always present. The enemy is listening and wants to twist your words. Proverbs 16:24 tells us that Pleasant words are as honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Remember,as a Christian you speak for your Heavenly Father.

The tongue is a hard thing to master. As you know, the Bible has a lot to say on the matter.
Words can be very sharp, I wish more people thought more before they spoke.
Sorry you got some negative feed back.
