OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE

Do you have good vision?  Many people can see well enough to make it through the day but they have vision problems.  There are all sorts of eye problems.  Some can see close up but not far away.  Some can see off in the distance but can't read a book in front of their eyes.  Some wear glasses.  Some have contact lens.  There is eye surgery.  A friend recently had eye surgery.  She could not read without thick eye glasses.  She had trouble driving a car.  I talked with her a few days after the surgery and it went very well.  She began telling me about being able to see.  She could see flowers.  She could see trees.  She could see cars.  She could see members of her family.  She had something she did not know existed.  She could see - clearly.  She could see bright shiny teeth when her children smiled.  She could read without glasses.  It was a miracle.  Surgery opened her eyes.  Her vision was enlarged.  God can enlarge your vision.  The troubles we all face can distort our vision.  God opens our heart to a new vision and understanding.  Open the eyes of your heart and receive spiritual wisdom from God.  See the glory of God.  You and I have a divine calling to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We have to see what God shows us through His love every day. Open your eyes and see.

So true my friend, unfortunately many people have no spiritual vision at all including some Christians. The world is blind, just as Paul wrote: "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 2Cr 2:14 I hope and pray that in these last day, God will pour out His Spirit and open many eyes, especially Israel.

My human eyes definitely do NOT see as well as they used to. And yet, I think God is opening up my spiritual "eyes" - He is curing me of my spiritual myopia.

I pray for new vision, Lord - to see my life from YOUR perspective.

GOD BLESS!

Hello. I think your blog is great. I am a Christian podcaster and I am trying to build the listener base for a podcast that I have recently taken over from my old media outlet. Please follow my blog and tell everyone that you know about my blog.

Very true. Without Christ, we walk in the dark and can not see.

Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105

...One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
John 9:25b

Thanks for reminded me that there is more than the human vision.
The vision that the Lord give us is for ever.

Thank you for a very much needed reminder. And along with asking the Lord to increase our spiritual vision, I pray He restores vision to the blind...
