Most people get married in Church. There is a lot of planning. The Church is decorated with flowers. Sometimes there is a Wedding Planner. There are Rehersals. There is a Best Man. There is a Maid of Honor. There is a Reception. The focus is on the Bride. She is lovely in her wedding gown. Everything is perfect. All eyes are on her as she comes down the isle. What if things were different? What if the best man wanted all eyes to be on him? Maybe he would talk loud or make a commotion to gain attention. In the Bible all attention is focused on the bride and groom. The bible compares the groom as the head of the wife as Christ is head of the church. The bible says the wife should submit to the husband as the church submits to Christ. The bible says for husbands to love their wives just as Christ loves the church. I am not sure of the statistics concerning divorce. I know the divorce rate is high. If God's people followed God's word in the Bible marriages would have a better chance of success. The divorce rate would fall to an all time low. Read God's word. Study your Bible.
