When do we need peacemakers? There could be a problem in a family. Brother against brother. There could be a problem in the Church. Brother against brother. Most of the time one or the other is in the wrong. There could be a misunderstanding. Someone needs to help. We need a peacemaker. A peacemaker does not just come between two people who are at odds. A peacemaker takes action. His role is to access the situation, make a correct decision and take action. A peacemaker settles the argument and brings peace between two factions. A peacemaker brings wholeness and well being to those who need it. The actions of a peacemaker must be motivated by love. A lasting harmony can not be found unless there is love for God and God's love is shown.
