MERCY

It has been said that someone who is merciful is kind. A person who shows mercy is compassionate. There is much more to showing mercy than being kind and compassionate. Mercy is showing compassion and kindness to those who do not deserve it. We rarely see true mercy outside of our relationship with God. God has forgiven us, therefore, we forgive others. We have all done things to deserve punishment. God did not punish us for our sins. He showed us mercy. We must follow His example and forgive others when they sin against us.
