There are people we have been friends with most of our adult lives. It might be a neighbor. We shared cookouts. We went to movies together.
We watched their children grow up and they watched ours. Then came the new job. They moved to another town hundreds of miles away. At first there were telephone calls. Then a few remembered birthday cards. Our relationship with best friends is over. This is true with our relationship with God. At first we went to Church every Sunday. We went to every event at the Church. Then we found other things. We have too much to put into our schedule. God is pushed to the side. Teach your children to love God. Be very careful in your Christian life. You need God and God wants you to need Him.
