THAT'S NOT FAIR

There are times when we face an unfair situation. We have experienced an injustice. When this happens, we have three avenues of reaction available. Our first response may be to overlook the event. We can become the victim. Our response could be to strike back at the person who was unjust to us. We can seek revenge. The third response is to turn it over to God. When Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane He asked His Father for some other path to follow instead of the path to the cross. Jesus stayed in the garden, awaiting His arrest because love motivated Him to stay. He showed love in spite of injustice. That was the path Jesus chose. That is the path we must choose. We must walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
